Much work has been done in ensuring that LPG is affordable and more accessible in Africa. Moving people from biomass and firewood that in some cases are even free is very difficult if LPG remains too expensive. Government policies and good infrastructure remains very important in ensuring access to all. This session will examine some of the policy work and practices that have enabled LPG to thrive and more importantly, the way forward in making LPG more accessible and affordable.
